Rami takes on big challenges, ensures the right people are involved, and drives meaningful impact. His engineering background fostered a deep sense of curiosity and intellectual stimulation, while his experiences in business and strategy reinforced the value of collaboration. He thrives on tackling complex problems and bringing people together to make things happen. In his current role at Visa, Rami leads strategic projects with cross-functional teams to drive growth in the SMB space. In previous roles, he streamlined tools and processes to reduce bureaucracy and empower decision-makers. He collaborated with industry experts and senior leaders to establish growth-focused yet realistic performance targets and facilitated high-profile engagements between internal and external executives. At BCG, he played a key role in designing a country-wide data and AI strategy and laid the groundwork for a national AI research center. He also led developers in launching a cross-government digital platform, influenced partnership negotiations between the World Bank and a GCC country, and designed the blueprint for a nationwide multi-million accelerator and venture builder program. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures and cuisines, and embracing new experiences. Recently, he has been learning to make fresh pasta from scratchā€”an endeavor that, surprisingly, is much easier than it seems!
